The short version

SmartMoney Tools is built so that your financial information never leaves your device. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your web browser. We do not have a server that receives, stores, or processes the loan amounts, balances, interest rates, or savings goals you type in. We cannot see your numbers, because they are never sent to us.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any financial data through the calculators. There is no database of user inputs because the math happens on your own computer or phone.

Information stored on your device

The only thing we save is your light or dark theme preference, using your browser's local storage. This value stays on your device, is used only to remember how you like the site to look, and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Advertising and cookies

This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense and its partners. These third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
